The College of Engineering, in cooperation with the College of Agriculture, holds a symposium on “Future Prospects for the Role of Renewable Materials in Sustainable Development”

Under the patronage of Prof. Dr. President of Beni Suef University, Prof. Dr. Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, Prof. Dr. Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture, and the Vice Deans for Environment and Community Service Affairs at the Faculties of Engineering and Agriculture, the Faculty of Engineering, in cooperation with the Faculty of Agriculture at Beni Suef University, is organizing a scientific symposium entitled "Future Prospects for the Role of Renewable Materials in Sustainable Development".
The symposium, which will be held on Sunday, October 27, 2024 at 10:00 am at the seminar hall at the Faculty of Engineering, aims to discuss the important role played by renewable materials in supporting and achieving sustainable development goals, in accordance with Egypt's Vision 2030. The symposium will review the strategic importance of these materials and the opportunities available for their use in various vital sectors such as energy, agriculture, and industry.

The symposium will be lectured by Prof. Dr. Hamed Al-Mawsili, a full-time professor at the Department of Design and Production Engineering at the Faculty of Engineering, Ain Shams University, who will present his vision on how to exploit renewable materials to enhance environmental and economic sustainability. The symposium will also address the challenges of innovation in this field and ways to employ it in sustainable development in the long term.

The college invites faculty members, researchers, students, and all interested parties to attend the symposium and participate in fruitful scientific discussions on this important topic.
